What it does

🚕 Real meter logicOne step per 200 m or per minute of waiting, whichever is greater — exactly like a Hong Kong taxi meter. Urban (red), New Territories (green) and Lantau (blue) tariffs at the Transport Department fares effective 14 July 2024; red-minibus flat fares too.
🌉 Tunnels and surchargesCross-Harbour, Eastern and Western crossings (with the return-toll rule), Lion Rock, Tate’s Cairn, Shing Mun, Tai Lam, Tsing Sha and Aberdeen; baggage, animals, phone booking, and any surcharge you invent.
🎯 Estimate it, guess itType a start and destination for an instant estimate with the route on the map; everyone guesses the fare before getting in and the closest wins — with a league table and a time machine (what it cost in 2022 or 2017).
📡 Live shareOne link lets friends watch the meter tick and the cab move in their browser. The link dies when the trip ends.
🧾 Shareable receiptsEvery trip ends with a receipt: the lines, a route sketch, estimate versus actual; split it, round it up, or share it as a picture.
🐈 There is a catDozes in traffic, saucer-eyed on the flyover, heart-eyed when a guess wins; and it writes a one-line diary entry for every trip.
🔒 Your data stays on your phoneNo account, no ads, no payment features. Trip history and tariffs live on the phone. Sharing trip data and live share happen only when you switch them on.
